Deep ruby with lighter rim and lovely floral and spiced nose.
Tannins are silky smooth and well integrated.
Dark fruits on palate with balance of alcohol and acidity, AbV at 13% much lower than typical Oz Shiraz @14.5%
At 8 years this is likely at its optimal drinking age

My last one of this vineyard and vintage and although my preference is to have 10 years from vintage for these, I couldn’t resist. Really nice dark berries and cherries are complemented by aromas of leather and aromatic wood. Bold tannins but smooth on the mid-palate and finish. — 3 months ago
