36% Cabernet Sauvignon, 34% merlot, 26% petit Verdot, 4% Cabernet franc. A sweet (actually don't laugh like ketchup) aroma then flavors of dark berries, earthy tones and dry tannins, nicely balanced — 8 years ago
2004 vintage. From Jay. 2004 Bartolo Mascarello - Brief Note from Galloni Historical Retrospective Held in London April 26, 2016. Dark ruby colour. Fresh violets on the nose together with cherries. A little tobacco wrapper. Cracked cloves. Nice fruit on the pallet and very silky. This is both elegant and old school in all the right ways. 92+/100. Drink 2017 to 2028+ — 8 years ago

Strawberries, blood orange rind, watermelon, satsuma mandarins, iron, smoke. Snapping acidity, light bodied, juicy texture, tangy-salty-slightly off dry yet crisp finish. Highly aromatic, at times savory, at times smoky, fruit persists through. Unique, interesting and uncommonly delicious. — 7 years ago
Light but full of flavor. Hints of spice, berries, and avocado. The initial taste is sweet but very mild. After taste is simple yet complex. A very nice fruit flavor. More towards a cab sav or a Shiraz. $26 — 7 years ago

Love the label. Love this! There is a Meyer lemon peel, verbena, lightly toasted pine nut in the nose and the flavors in the mouth mirror those. While it is mouth watering, it’s also rich. Vintages: 2013/2014. Disgorged 1/26/2018 TBL — 5 years ago
