Peach, violet, honey, ripe banana. Greasy, juicy palate. Amazing. — 2 years ago
Citrus, lychee. Greasy palate with a lot of minerality, mellow finish. — 3 years ago
Pours like its all about the oxidation - salty, sour winey with sherry and whiskey nods, cheeses and nuts. It is for a second, but that fog burns off after a couple hours and it brightens to something different, primary, and more elegant.
Spiced ginger ale and cola, peaches, greasy leather, butterscotch candy and violets. Slippery texture.
Be generous with time and air, be very rewarded. — 3 years ago
Black currant, meat juice, leather, earth. That's quite masculine and muscular. The palate is well made with a good acid backbone, a beautiful black currant note, a good width and some fatty, greasy mouthfeel, a spherical mid palate with already partially resolved tannins and a good, long finish with currant and that greasy, fat layer. Not your typical Saint Estephe but I've had worse in better vintages — 5 years ago
Absolutely stunning. This release/vintage has a lot of life left in it. I cannot wait to drink my other cellared bottle in ten years. Fresh yellow and white orchard fruits, young creamy Brie cheese, multiple layers of texture and minerality. I will literally FIGHT to continue buying upcoming vintages of Romain Guiberteau’s releases, with avid search for his small release Cabernet francs from Saumur; even Grolleaus, with fingers crossed that they will stay so affordable. Wait and see, his release prices are going to quickly climb in the coming years. — 6 years ago

Nice Cabernet. Dark color. Black cherry on the nose. Nice fingers. Rich tannins. Earthy. Very nice wine. — a year ago
Amazing. A solid 9. Ripe dark fruits all over the place. Meat, leather notes. Full-bodied with sticky tannins, greasy palate, spices and everything. 10 years old and still at the top. — 2 years ago
Citrus and stone, zippy. — 3 years ago
30 min decant(little cloudy sediment). A formidable medium garnet color with some bricking. On the nose: perfumed notes of raspberry, vanilla, forest floor, and cedar. Taste: A creamy, juicy, balanced wine with red plum, smoke, touch of blueberry, minerals, earth, spicy vanilla oak, and a medium finish. Sticking pins in my Packers doll and crossing my fingers, let's see what happens. — 4 years ago

Nose of agrumes and flowers, honey. Salty and greasy mouth. Lingers for ever. Amazing. — 7 years ago
Very powerful wine, acidity perfect for greasy meats. — 7 years ago
A bright beautiful crimson ruby red in color. Nose - candied cherry, vanilla and a barnyard funk are the initial aroma scents followed by cedar, spice and florals . Taste red-black fruits, vanilla and cedar hit the palate with a mild tannic kick and notes of chocolate strawberry espresso and a long dry finish. We’ll give the next bottle a little more time to see how all its flavors come together. A big wine for sure and fun to try for the first time. — 4 years ago
Spicy good cut for greasy food yum — 6 years ago
Nicely unfiltered and raw. A touch sweet but refreshing and mouth watering at the same time. Freshly bruised fruit. As nigoris go, this is the sound an Italian chef makes when kissing their fingers. — 6 years ago
Wow. Clove, nutmeg, pepper, pear, citrus, chewing gum, candy. Salty and greasy mouth, sweet finish. Quite an experience. — 7 years ago
