The aromatics on this are powerful and complex. Florals, dark berries and savory components. This is generous and rewarding in youth. A beautiful example of savory/briny character accented by rich red fruit. Structured and textured. This shows great complexity, but also inviting freshness. Absolutely great. Needed a long decant to open up .. much heavier and more tannic than the 14 — 7 months ago
Dreamy and light body with a very high acid. Clay appeared to be very present on both the nose and palate, also dried fruits and raisons. What a pretty supple red! — 6 years ago
Loved this as an autumn red - darker than their others, but still so juicy. — 7 years ago

Mmmmmm.., so much pure Syrah goodness... blackberry and dusty cedar and fresh tobacco. 👌🏾#highfallutin2019 — 6 years ago
100% Roussanne.
Nose...If I ever had a white that I could tell you was "oily" this is that wine. Caramelized honey, pear, guava and wet clay.
Palate is hazelnut butter, macerated pear, over-ripe apricot. F...this is an amazing bottle, I don't happen across Roussanne like this everyday, or like ever! — 7 years ago
Light but full at the same time, love it! Could drink this nonstop.... — 8 years ago

Very fruity saint joseph with nice cherry and blackberry notes, some oak, some black pepper, a nice soft and silky mouthfeel, gentle tannins and a nice long finish. We have it along a slow-cooked lamb leg and gratin dauphinois made by yours trully for our easter lunch. — 6 months ago
