Cheeto colored Georgian skin contact wine. Full bodied with notes of tea and apple. Slightly tannic bright acidity and a little bit funky especially second day. — 4 years ago
Cherry, hibiscus, a bit of spritz. Banger of a Georgian rosé. — 5 years ago
Earthy Saperavi, with a long and potent finish of pepper and earth. One of the best Saperavis I have had. Perfect with Georgian lamb dishes. — 6 years ago
Not a bit of Georgian script anywhere on the bottle, but a big square of marketing copy on the back label. Ok, great—these wines need more exposure! Medium amber (amber—so much nicer than “orange”), light tannin, apricot, great acidity, and refreshing in a brilliant way. Perfect with a range of foods. A stunning value. #georgianwine — 5 years ago
The producer of this lovely wine likens this ancient Georgian variety to sauvignon blanc. While this did have similar aromas of grass and lemon pith, as well as tropical fruit notes on the palate, I found this to be softer, and less tangy, than sauv blanc. Almost tastes like sauv blanc blended with riesling! 100% Rkatsiteli. 9/15/22. — 3 years ago
