Good drinking wine — a month ago
No real notes, sharing this with my friend who came over from france and who, incidentally, lives in lyon, next-door to beaujolais. Cherry, cherry liqueur, earth, hay, violet, this is pinotesque with some more fruit. The palate shows acid drive, cherry, cherry cola, some width, some matter, some tannins in the rear. The cherry,.cherry liqueur and violet finish lasts for a very long while. This is superb and could probably last for another 10 15 years. — 2 months ago
Strawberry, blueberry with medium acid, beautiful medium ruby color, medium body with dry ending. Great on its own, even better with duck breast. — 2 months ago
Had it right out of the barrel on the 3rd Thursday in November! Dark ruby red, spice and pepper accents, sweetened over time, paired nicely with a traditional Coq au Vin. — 7 months ago
Rustic nose, with mushrooms, iron, red meat, slightly crunchy read fruit, rose florals and maybe even a hint of crisp red apple. Medium body, and a dark, deep ruby or rose color. Palate is zingy with hints of blood orange, high quality balsamic, honestly bubble gum or some sort of candied flavor, piñon wood, with dark chocolate (like cacao) and a little tar and burnt fennel at the finish. Whew, this is rich and fun, but not so high ABV or weight that it’s overwhelming. — a month ago

Easy going, relatively simple, but fun wine — a month ago
Strong musk and forest on the nose. Bramble, dark fruits, and a hint of red fruits on the forward palate. Forest floor/wet fruit and mild gasoline/rubber on the mid and end palate. Smooth low-med tannins, full-minus body. Bright med+ acidity. Needs to decant and breathe before drinking. — a month ago

Light red, lovely with roast chicken, veal or pork. — 2 months ago

Very tart, lip - smacking cherry juice. Would be lovely on the deck on a warm summer evening. Alas, it’s 25 and snowing, but nice nonetheless. Takes a little of the chill out of winter. — 5 months ago
