Almost a sin to uncork such a young wine but, someone has to. 😁. As one would expect it’s tight as a drum, and other than a magnificent whiff of berried fruit this pinot does tease you for what enjoyment is to come. A couple into the cellar and not seeing daylight for about three-plus years should reward any patient Burgundy lover. — 3 years ago

We adore the nose on this one, just like freshly proofing bread every time. The blend is 80% Pinot Meunier, 15% Chardonnay with 5% Pinot Noir. (Lot DB050314)

As the bottle warms a cooked/toasty pear note really starts showing. On the palate there is fig, dried ginger and dried lemon zest with honeyed pear. This wine evolves tremendously as it warms, when you can't reach the slightly chilled bottle for a refill because you have a sleepy kitten on your lap. — 9 years ago
