2023 vintage. Jean Dauvissat Premier Cru Côte de Léchet — 7 days ago
Crisp and full bodied for a Chablis - rich pear, apple and citrus fruit wrapped in a round overall mouthfeel. Lovely wine to have as a starter. — 6 days ago
The 2nd vintage of La Grande Rue we had at the Burgundy dinner in Sydney 6 weeks ago. This was the 2015. A very Vosne Romanee nose - perfumed and enticing. Sweeter fruit than the 2012. Given its prime location as being over the road (La Grande Rue) from La Romanee and La Romanee Conti it doesn’t reflect the quality of those 2 vineyards nor the price thankfully. Amazing that the separation of the width of a narrow road makes such a difference. The 1.65 hectares of La Grande Rue dates back to the 15th century. It is simply a continuation of La Tache - lighter bodied (and lighter priced). — 22 days ago
This had a silky texture showing dark red fruits, meat, spice & violets — 15 days ago
Back dating our reviews as we’ve been to this (excellent) restaurant twice in the past three days!
Superb seafood and this Chablis was the perfect accompaniment.
👏 to Michael the resident Sommelier for the selection.

Not to be confounded with the mythical Vincent Dauvissat, but this is a great estate in its own right. An excellent example of a basic Chablis. The " parcellaires" ( single parcel selections) are even better. — 7 days ago

Decant your white burgs! This improved so much with air. There’s such power and verve with incredible depth and seamlessness of its layered Chablisen minerality, with buttercream, roasted hazelnuts and an ocean spray-like salinity. It’s texturally captivating, wrapping around the palate with killer density without weight. Racy acids balance its richness and secondary nuttiness and it finishes forever. Excellent. — 9 days ago
