Lighter than most barolo. Went well with a banana pepper risotto / spicy Remoulade. Enjoyed — 2 years ago

Deep garnet color, high acidity and still plenty of tannins. Smell of red fruit, cedar, flint. Medium full body, some tertiary flavors mixed with red fruit, plum, pomegranate, espresso . Long finish — 4 months ago
Served blind . Arrogantly said after a quick smell & taste, Burgundy from 2018 , high quality village wine. WRONG! Beautiful flavors of cherry, earth and mineral. Pepper red fruits, herbs and mouthwatering acid attacked my palate. Still has structure to endure for years. — 5 months ago

Very nice dry white, full body, some complexity, great with seafood. — 2 months ago
Perhaps the most interesting & intriguing older wine/Barolo I’ve had in memory. It showed its tannin profile and fruit. Tart and just gently sweet cherries, tomato leaf, soft, almost sweet tarriness, light tobacco & leather. Group intrigue. Special.

Pale lemon color with aromas of ripe stone and tropical fruits and floral notes wrapped in a frizzante style. On the palate flavors of peach, apricot and mango with notes of white floral. Good balance with lively yet refrained acidity, medium+ finish ending with sweet ripe fruit character. — 9 months ago

Nose is a 10. Mouthfeel and finish don’t match. Tannins a little rough. — 3 days ago
