Pale lemon with fine creamy mousse and tiny rapid bubble flow, long lees aging. aromas stone fruits and blossom, bread dough and citrus. On the palate flavors of golden apple, peach, lemon citrus and honeysuckle with biscuit toast and nutty notes. Long finish, full-body ending with biscuit, mineral and citrus character. Had this over a year ago, this is a new batch. Rich and creamy Blanc de Blanc with fruit from the villages of Avize and Oger. Fine mousse and bubble flow. Peach and sweet Apple with smoky and yeasty notes adding some lemon zest. Nice balance with toasty nutty notes, great mouthfeel on lingering finish, ending with mineral and yeasty tang. Nice! Surprisingly light, turbid ruby with garnet rim. Fresh aroma of carbonic, sour cherry, violet, green olive; slight reductive funk. Slight spritz, light body (13%), thin in mid palate with high acidity, moderately high chunky tannin, prob skin and stem, and refreshing bitterness. Very pretty.
