Dried plum shining the most. Light like a Bourgogne. In a category of its own and fairly simple.

Fading quickly nowadays. Light extraction, hot weather, young vines, all showing. Nothing off about it but if you got em drink em

For what seems like the winemaker's throwaway brand-new-vines-on-noble-cornas-soil juice this is still holding up 10 years later. It's fading into minimal complexity and away from any bright fruit characters but I sure am enjoying it as a table wine with food. Just right.

Doing it all over again. This time it's a bit more juicy and deep tamarind, a perfect anything wine with plenty of my interest without ever going overboard. I write this on day 3...still going, just barely starting to fade.

The first time I had this wine over 2 years ago it exuded cannabis and grape vine milk with some light juicy Syrah to wash it away...awesome and unique yet very obviously the producer's throwaways made to a T of perfect traditional Northern Rhone. Now 2 years later its aging and amazingly transcending itself into an area of funk that i can barely describe...all the green is marrying the juice finally and it's coming out as a tree resin juice with some tamarind on high. Eat with Indian food, not super hot, but spiced out for sure. If you can find some, I can just about guarantee it'll be worth the small amount you will pay for this. NV blend of 2006/2007 super young vines in Cornas.
