Light ruby color, beautiful shine. Nose: bright red fruits (strawberry, cherry), peppery, and mineral. Lively mouth with a slamming acidity, constituting the red thread of this tasting, balanced by gourmet notes of juicy fruit, and a beautiful chew in the mouth, with very fine tannins, as expected. Served at 12/13 degrees in summer, it is a perfect treat. 2018 is beginning to reveal welcome evolution notes, supporting a discreet oak aging. To be tasted absolutely within 1/2 years.

Great sauv blanc. Beguiling honeysuckle and green tropical fruit, pear, kiwi. Very generous, comparatively round and textured for Sancerre but still high acid. This will age well.
Unsurprisingly, even better on day 2. A riot of fruit aroma.

That is one really enjoyable bottle. I love the color of aged white burgundy. Was lucky to find a bottle from my first daughters birth year today. Had to get it and enjoy with her on a visit home. Pineapple aromas with a lemon kicker and honey on the finish. — 5 days ago
Beautiful gold color. Aromas of apricot, green apple, slate and freshly washed laundry. Pallet is leesy with hints of apple and minerals. Touch of citrus on the very smooth finish. Nicely balanced. Fresh, rich and satisfying. No oak. Easy drinker. Pleasant surprise. — 7 days ago
My first taste of anything Dauvissat which I kept around for a few extra years to soften the edges. Still vibrant, it has some pretty little subtleties but moves and dances less than I hoped it might.
Not to suggest there aren't things to appreciate. Smokey stone, and oyster shell, cool to the touch. Apple core and pear accents, and florals. Electric sour lemon starfruit with a bitter grapefruit finish.
Delicious, but it'll disappear without much noise into a memory bank of equally good Chablis at half the price. — 21 days ago
