Ruby red trailing to pink. Dry with a nice blend of tannins and acidity. Hints of sour cherry and red raspberry. Some notes of baseball glove with a pleasant peppery finish. Paired excellently with Johnny Marzetti. — 5 months ago
The 2019 Barolo Prapò is packed with dark fruit, leather, smoke, tobacco, incense and mocha. The darker, more somber side of Serralunga comes through in this decidedly virile, imposing Barolo. (Antonio Galloni, Vinous, November 2023)

Pale lemon in color with a golden hue.
Champagne nose with citrus, apples, minerals and light bread notes.
Light to medium in body with high acidity and soft bubbles.
Very dry on the palate with green apples, grapefruits, light yeast, spices, light earth and herbs.
Nice finish with almonds.
This is a good quality wine. Direct and linear.
Very fresh tasting for a 4 year old. Would continue to age nicely in the next 5 to 7 years.
A good food wine. Crisp and refreshing.

This wine is crisp, mineral, cantaloupe, flinty. Fast finish. So good! — 3 months ago
Age has turned this 2010 magnum coffee-chocolate brick brown, but if memory serves this is an appassimento, Amarone-esque wine. It shows raisin and plum behind grill notes and black tobacco, fig and date. Tart dried cherry palate echoes tobacco, espresso and offers a cassis note. Earthy and bold. This wine exudes muscle, but does not lean on a Jammy-ness or blowsy-ness to deliver it. Really different, and singular.

Still full of tannin. Big plum nose. Lots of fruit. Wish I had another. — 5 months ago
Delicious Langhe wine, reminds me of a Pinot Grigio — 8 months ago

Ruby in color with medium intensity.
Fairly closed on the nose with iron and blood notes, light oak, black olives and espresso.
Medium plus in body with medium acidity.
Dry on the palate with red fruits, light wood, spices, coffee, dark chocolates, earth, tobacco leaf, olives, peppercorn and dark chocolates.
Long finish with round tannins and tangy cherries.
This is a delicious Barolo from Serralunga in Piedmont. Well balanced with a nice mouthfeel. Round complex and interesting.
This 6 year old is still young, but already enjoyable, even by itself. Will continue to age nicely in the next 10 to 15 years.
