Dinner with Brett and Karin in Jensen Beach, FL. February 8, 2025. E enjoyed Terri bottles of the 2022, during dinner at 11 Maple Street. — 3 months ago
Dark purple with near black core. Sweet blackberry, herbs, and light baseball bat on the inviting nose. Confirmed on the medium full palate with a hint of marzipan and medium plus acidity. Tannins are mild but present. Oak is present but mild. This food-friendly (I had with beef Wellington) red is an excellent example of why Cabernet of the Franc kind is rapidly gaining ground in the market. New World fruit but surrounded by Old World finesse and none of that SB-induced pyrazine to throw things off. Drink now through 2027. — 5 months ago
Great Costco find. — 6 months ago
Beautiful dense glass-staining dark color, still ruby red and plummy purple!
In the mouth, this has gorgeous fruit (black cherry, blueberrypreserve, fresh brambles) mixed with grilled meats, resolved tannines and sufficiënt freshness.
Impressively youthful and vigorous for this 19 yo Malbec
This particular bottling has been very consistent in quality and a great bang for your bucks for more than 25 years now.. — 9 months ago
whoa! wild, totally unexpected nose. never smelled a chard like this. Menthol, eucalyptus, mint. Andes mint. high elevation, select rows from a single vineyard. Unlike any other chardonnay. Flipping beautiful. High acid, lemony citrus and mineral on palate. the mint is fascinating- almost overwhelming. decanting would prolly help. 10 just because it’s so interesting, so delicious. but it is not identifiable as Chardonnay. — 3 months ago
Medium ruby in color; black cherries, graphite, and dried herbs on the nose; medium acidity; medium tannins; tastes like blackberries, red plums, and clay pots with a long finish. — 5 months ago
Guild Tavern South Burlington VT Sept 2024. Not sure if this is the exact Malbec we had from this vineyard, but it was excellent with our steak and would drink again without a meal, too — 7 months ago
v21. Very good. Decant. Soft, clean, smoked meat nose. Bright, firm blackberry fruit. Smooth, lean, chocolate and new leather finish. Nice, terroir driven wine.. very good food wine. — 8 months ago
Wow. Tannins and fruits doing their job in near perfect harmony. A wonderful experience with this Argentina classic. — 4 years ago
Very nice, easy to drink wine. — 6 years ago
The 2021 Argentino follows in the footsteps of its prodigious predecessors. It’s loaded with sweet, almost syrupy fruit, oak and overall richness with wonderfully firm and slightly drying tannins to balance it out. A baby from a site with 10 centuries of history. — 3 months ago
2023 vintage. Concentrated, light-medium body with fruit darting amongst the layers of acidity. Crisp, slightly mineral and refreshing with a reminder that CA has just a bit more than chard and sauv blanc out there. These “old vines” planted in 1966. 01.08.25. — 4 months ago
Clean fruit, but still a very bold wine. — 6 months ago

A very expressive, a bit more intense Chardonnay, a great representation of high elevated vineyards in Mendoza, Argentina with compelling complexity. Has a great mouthfeel, with more weight and beautiful finish. Love it with shrimp scampi or any chunky grilled fish. — 8 months ago
