If you didn’t tell me what it was, I’d have guessed top Amarone. — 6 months ago
Insane QPR. Comparable with a lot of $75 WA reds for 1/3 price. Well done, and aging well. — 9 months ago
Yeast and dried apricots. Fun!! — 3 years ago
Quite a nice #englishsparklingwine featuring the classic #chardonnay #pinotnoir and #pinotmeunier blend. Evolved balance between a racy lemony-style and a richer yeasty and brioche cuvée. Lovely 🍾 but for the same price seems like there are so many equally good if not better choices across the English Channel in Champagne.

Once again, they were out of the wine I ordered and offered this. Once again, a nice choice. Great with the braised pork shank. — 8 months ago
nose: lovely fragrance of spiced baking apples, pastry shell, orange citrus, slight nuttiness
palette: high acid, very well-structured, long finish

Golgotha - Scholium Project 2010.
Widowmaker Block Hudson Vineyards.
Abe, the man who would be king, gifted this bottle (amongst many others) to me after being an Intern in 2013. They travelled from Napa to London to Western Australia.
15 years later on a Monday night of a week I wasn’t meant to be drinking…
I pulled it out of the wine fridge in Margaret River. Cork fresh as a daisy and some decent sediment on first pour. Aerated with Vinturi and poured. Some early VA blew away and a Star Was Born. The floral powderiness on my mid palate is intoxicating. Never before have I tasted a big inky, 15% delicate ballerina like this. So glad I opened it alone so we can have a week together understanding each other. Has to be Petite Syrah. Wine study X 1000 ♥️ Pretty Pimpin — 5 months ago
