Domaine Coche Dury is arguably the most sought after internationally of white Burgundy domains according to Jasper Morris MW in his tome “Inside Burgundy “. This wine had aromas of Lemon and Citrus flowers. On the palate Lemon juice - lean with mineral and M plus acidity. In hindsight should have left this last one for a few years. A wine of restraint and elegance - a tinge of honey after a while. For the Coche Dury village style only 25% new wood is used. This wine rarity was suggested to me years ago by a former owner of Prince Wine store and Burgundy nut Phillip Rich. Must seek out later vintages. — 8 years ago
Third wine we tasted after our tour at Champagne Billecart-Salmon. Our tour guide was excellent and very knowledgeable about the domains history and all the wines.
Light golden yellow and lively. A touch sweet on the nose with marzipan and nutty notes. Medium plus acidity (6.5/10) and medium bodied. Oak definitely felt on the palate with some nutty and cream elements. Some citrus fruits too in the long finish. Drink till 2023.
This bottling was started in 2012 and is made up of equal parts Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunièr. 100% of the fruit is vinified in barrel with on 7 grams of sugar. Aged for 7 years on the lees. — 8 years ago
First of the wines after our tour at Champagne Billecart-Salmon. Our tour guide was excellent and very knowledgeable about the domains history and all the wines.
Bright pale yellow and lots of tiny bubbles. Very lively. Fresh and crisp on the nose with some nutty notes as well as layers of green apples. Balanced acidity (7.5/10) with a medium plus body. Lovely mouthfeel with a touch of tartiness. Layered with green apples, lemon zest, stone fruits, gravel, almonds and beautiful freshness. Long and mouthwatering finish. Drink till 2024.
Made up of 40% Pinot Meunier, 30% Pinot Noir and 30% Chardonnay. Aged for a minimum of 5 years on the lees. Disgorged in January of 2017. — 8 years ago
Top notch. Opened up after an hour in the decanter and had real depth of flavour. Worth the wait.... — 10 years ago

Favorite white at Domains South tasting. — 7 years ago
For £35 this is a cracking 🇨🇱 wine in 2012 so is the 2014 as good? Nearly but it’s a beauty for this money 👍 Another one of my Chile favourites 😉

Last wine we tasted after our tour at Champagne Billecart-Salmon. Our tour guide was excellent and very knowledgeable about the domains history and all the wines.
Bright golden yellow with tons of tiny bubbles. Thick nose with layers of honey, stone and white fruits, almonds and some lemon zest. Well rounded with high acidity (7.5/10) and medium plus to full bodied. Fresh, lively and zesty on the palate with layers of brioche, stone fruits, green apples and a touch of citrus. Long and lingering finish. Drink till 2037.
Made up of 60% Pinot Noir and 40% Chardonnay from the same plot every vintage. Only 20% is vinified in oak and also aged for 13 years on the lees. — 8 years ago
Isssu de la plus vielle brasserie d'Angleterre d'après l'étiquette. Ipa au goût fort malté par rapport au houblon. Biere agréable un peu crémeuse et facile à boire — 9 years ago
Tasted with a 2013 Domains Des Pentrix burgundy (disappointing) and a 2014 Belle Glos Clark & Telephone (my go-to wine). The Moon X, a $7 Trader Joe offering, held it's own. Better than the French Pinot and giving Belle Good a run for the money. This is a buy-a-case Pinot Noir for everyday use. — 9 years ago
Super bon vieux bourgogne. Reflets dorés, transparence, nez de vielle cave, et bouche vive, fleurie..
Un vrai bon moment — 9 years ago
Très bien!!! Belle évolution avec des notes grillées, noisette, encore de la fraîcheur. Manque un peu de longueur pour le mettre dans la catégorie des "grands". — 10 years ago
Ale-like trappist. Ages ik the bottle. If you like a bit more depth and almond-like bitterness, order the old one, vieux or vielle de Orval.
The younger one is fresher with some citrus hints.
One of my absolute favorites. — 7 years ago

Second wine we tasted after our tour at Champagne Billecart-Salmon. Our tour guide was excellent and very knowledgeable about the domains history and all the wines.
Copperish pink and very lively. Layered nose with roses, strawberries, light raspberries, strawberry crème, and a little herbal. High acidity (7/10) but balanced with a slightly smooth mouthfeel. Layered with strawberries, tropical fruits, kiwi, grapefruit and melon. Very fresh and crisp. Medium to medium plus body with a long finish. Drink till 2024.
Made with a minimum of 40% Chardonnay with the remainder split between Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier of which 5 to 8% is from red wine. Aged for around 3 years on the lees.
Thanks @David L for introducing us to this stunning producer! — 8 years ago

The vineyards of Domaine du Vieux Lazaret are spread over 90 hectares, split into 35 different parcels throughout CDP, today one of the largest domains in CDP. Be sure not to over chill as you will lose out on all of the complex flavors and aromas. Intense green & stone fruit aromas with citrus notes. The palate shows firm fruit, apples, peaches and pear, crisp with good balance of acid, still fresh and lively. The medium finish leaves with a nutty earthy ending. Age will benefit the wine! Nice! — 9 years ago
