Been a while since I've had one of these. Nice nose with red and dark fruits as well as some mushroom. Palate has more alcohol than I might prefer, which makes it a little rougher than I'd prefer as well.

Good house wine. Could be a little smoother.

Still tastes young. Dark with black cherry flavors. Developing well with good complexity. $34.99 at Astor.

2008. Solid Burgundy: deep red brink color, light to medium bodied, good red fruit and some mushroom on the nose. Palate has some black and red cherry, a bit higher in alcohol (13%) noticeable as well.
