A bit bitter on its own, balances itself out when paired with a fatty meat (in this case, a Basque region raised pork loin). — 5 months ago
Chateauneuf-du-Pape is one of favorite French wines and this iteration is certainly an excellent example. Full bodied, well balanced, smooth and so good with foods. Meats, cheeses, crusty breads, or just by itself. Plenty of fruit, very little tannins and the perfect amount of time in the bottle since this variety doesn’t really lend itself to aging. Really doesn’t need much decanting. — 7 months ago
Potent yellow colour. Rich, almost Chardonnay like despite being a mix of roussanne-Grenache blanc-Viognier, and string body. I really like this one. 4/2-2023 (home) — a year ago
Dark red fruits, dark chocolates and some meaty aromas. This is a great wine that will get better with age. We’re going to enjoy this with Christmas leftovers! — 5 months ago
Napa Bordeaux blend - Black currant, violets, cherry, cedar and spice - plenty of fruit - likely peaking - opened up with some air — 8 months ago
Super interesting and unusual gamay Pinot noir blend. Red fruit/tart berries. Really fun. — 9 months ago

Palate: green apple. Lovely sweet fruit. Mineral. Great acidic balance. Blind I’d say 1er cru chablis.
