This was in fantastic shape. Completely unexpected aroma and flavor to start - fruity and acidic, and then opened up very nicely. Really impressive. The age added complexity after about 30 minutes.

Wow, really impressed. We opened this a couple nights ago with homemade French onion soup - it was beautiful, and paired very well. I’ve never had an aged white wine with such an amber, almost pink, color but such a youthful nose and flavor. Still has great acidity. It seems the short maceration time really contributed a special aspect for this one. — 6 years ago
