From a good looking bottle, decanted for 2 hrs. Dark scarlet, almost opaque. Awesome perfumed nose. Notes of red fruit, black cherries, Asian spice, some menthol and some moist dark soil. Silky in the mouth. After a few hours the aromatics quieted down. Better showing tonight than the last bottle in 2020. — 2 years ago

Starts out bitter, but opens up right after. — 2 years ago
A youthful nose of violets, faint smoke and spice. In the mouth the vintages’s telltale acidity is front and center and encase the red and dark fruit along with subtle earth notes. Tannins are there but unobtrusive. Plenty of current pleasure but certainly can be held — 3 years ago
Demi-sucre vraiment bien après souper — 4 years ago
Delicious. Subtle earthy. Raspberries. — 4 years ago
Gripping, austere, reductive, mineral-laced and utterly cerebral. That describes the general appeal of this very well-crafted entry level bottling. But it remains expressive, aromatic, lifted and graceful. This vintage has proven to be one of the best gateways into serious and traditional Burgundy wines for many of my customers, earning it a couple of extra points from me. — 5 years ago
