Nose is so mineral. Lemony and buttery. But it’s overwhelmingly mineral and scene in the forest. Palate is racy and ripe but has terrific acidity, freshness and cut. Long finish. Juicy and so pure. Really awesome stuff. Wow as this opens the e berg is palpable and the complexity is off the charts. So good. Nice richness on the palate now with a few hours of air. — 2 years ago

Really stunning wine. Maybe best one ever and I have had everyone since 14. Nose is dripping with terror, deep forest, rain soaked moss, light sweet wood, burst of minerals and some green apple skins. But so stunningly pure. Palate is rich and ripe but so pure and juicy. Elegant and deep with a lovely opulence and wonderful freshness and lift. Impressive finish. Such an airy yet dense wine. Just glorious. — 7 months ago

Was going to get the 2016 given I generally love that vintage across much of Europe but the somm talked me into the 2015 saying it was more open. He was right - this was delicious, and still traditional and “old school” with a restrained 13.5%. Tons of pepper and dark dark fruit with some olive.
