Young. I’ve said it many times; Hatton Daniels wines are made to age and this Cabernet is at the far end of the hold spectrum. While I loved drinking this there is so much potential that is overtaken by the density and freshness packed into this. 20-30-40 years just forget about this bottle. While it is great and definitely not hard by any means this will only become glorious over time. — 6 years ago

So. Damn. Good. Best rosé in California. — 9 years ago
This particular bottle is made especially for Rosewood Mayakoba. One year in Jack Daniels cask and another month or two in Napa Cab cask. The Vanilla and caramel tones are amazing. A lot of whiskey notes are evident. Awesome! At Fairmont Mayakoba. — 9 years ago
Another great wine with age in the pocket. Glad we caught it there. Lacked a lil of the magic you are looking for in red burg. But would def drink again. Thx Eothen — 3 years ago
Enjoying this Merlot 2010 vintage on 1/31/22. Deep color, very smooth fruit forward. — 4 years ago

By far my favorite HD bottle to date!! — 8 years ago
Who knew? A fantastic blend with notes of blackberries, cocoa and heavy baking spices. The flavors are highlighted by the Smokey whiskey flavors from 18 months in the barrel with the last 6 in a jack Daniels Tennessee sour mash barrel. Totally unique and surprisingly splendid. — 9 years ago

Again marveling at this unusual creature of dark purple juice with dark floral yet fresh notes with a light but grippy palate that has grapey hints and a long intriguing finish. Great with Vietnamese and 9.98% ABV 49 cases made! — 8 months ago
