In beautiful shape, better than I remember the last bottle being. Dried red and black fruits, dry dusty tannins, forest floor, dried porcini mushroom and old leather umami nodes, cedar, dried herbs. Did I mention it’s dry? But it’s a beautiful wine, the flavor profile exudes sun baked warmth but the alcohol clocks in at less than 12% so it doesn’t fatigue the palate — 2 years ago
Interesting red blend that features the Baga (85%) grape. Blended with Touriga National (15%). Very dark color but lighter in body than I would have expected. Bright and jammy red fruit aromas and flavors with hints of prunes and dark chocolate. Solid acidity and very long finish. Moderate finish and tannins. In a very good place right now. Thanks for sharing and insisting we open this one, Ron B! — 4 years ago
Drank it after about five other bottles on Fri before Secret Cinema. Remember thinking it is good, need to revisit. Heavy, grown up but still elegant. — 5 years ago
Big rustic beast with plenty of tannic bite and fleshy dark fruit. — 4 months ago
Pretty deep ruby with medium wide pink rim . Quite closed and mineral focused nose , with grafite , wet stone , dark cherry , blackberry and touch of toast . On the palate quite elegant dark fruits , with dark cherry , blackberry , grafite and cacao . Medium bodied with very fresh quite intense acidity and gritty , quite dry tannins . Medium length crushed rock and grafite tinged finish. This needs more time , better in 3-4 years and will last well a further 5-8 — 9 months ago

Pretty smooth, oaky, blackberry juice and a vanilla finish. Love it — 3 years ago
Color is a mix of purple and burgundy, a bit cloudy. Nose of dried strawberry, spicy note, currants, and carbonates grape juice. Taste is smooth and follows the nose with addition of zest, decent acidity, and tiny hint of mineral. Some more blackberry. And some more black pepper. Aftertaste of some more warmth from black peppers. Clean and warm, and above average. — 4 years ago
The oak is quite prominent though not overbearing initially, and subsides gradually to commingle with ripe black fruits, clove, anise, dark chocolate, dried herbs, and slight hint of barnyard. Full body. Savory and lush palate but the fruits feels youthful than the nose suggested. Vivid acidity and still solid tannins. Will continue to get better in the next 5 years also.
This bottle serves a reminder that I need to drink more wines from Portugal, one of my favorite countries to visit. — 4 years ago
Needs time to open up but evidence of Arinto’s aging potential. Displaying classic notes of oxidized apples, citrus juice and preserved citrus peel. Saline on the finish. — 5 years ago
This is my kind of wine! The end taste is woody and it’s perfect with meat (specially a bbq made in the wood fire). Personal note: both, I and my fiancé loved this one, what is a rare find!! — 6 years ago

Fantastic bottle. A bit grippy but not terribly dry; and some minerality that’s extremely welcome. Enjoyed with meatloaf, would stand up to most robust meals. — 4 months ago
