Unspeakable. The wine looked oxidized but when I tasted I lost my voice. Cream, custard, all the way through lemon-lime to stone fruits, tropical fruits . The oak influence extremely low aloud me to get clean flavors that shown the qualities of the wine maker and the wine's terroir. Finish long stayed for minutes. — 11 years ago

Amazing terroir and funk initially. A near-burnt apple bread, orchids, lilies, pine sap, mushrooms, and of course citrus nose. The palate offers creamy pear, eggshell, lemon custard, dried apricot, candied mango, toast and lemon zest, salty yellow plum, underripe strawberry-cherry-star fruit, this champagne has it all, from impeccable texture to unbridled complexity. Pithy, dry finish seals the deal!! #moutard #champagnemoutard #champagne #6cepages — 11 years ago
Lemon custard, clove, chamomile, vanilla bean. Vibrant acidity, concentrated body after first pour. Light to medium bodied with clean finish. — 11 years ago
Tres Beautiful nose 👃👃👃
Caramel apple-banana brûlée top notes, pear and spice underneath, still-pert lemon zest and peach custard, too. Palate delivers that Cali-leonine body -ie big! - but with enough brisk acidity to keep things more than decent. Long, with flavors that echo the nose and all around beautiful balance. Drinking super well at moment, near its peak and rewarding this bit of bottle age with plenty of secondary characteristics. PLUS:: #winebling (yes, there are some tartrate crystals, folks - all just adding to the allure - game on!) — 11 years ago
Praise Jesus, it tastes like Chardonnay! Almost like Piedmont Chardonnay, actually. Tons of Meyer lemon and custard. — 12 years ago
