Bright golden color. Aromas of tropical fruits, white flowers and sea spray. The palate leans more toward pear and unripe peach with a pleasant herbal note on the finish. Mouth filling texture, medium body and crisp acidity. There is a bit of weight (pleasant) but it’s not over the top. 1975 out of magnum and from a leaky cork . Procured it from a collection. Mature with notes of brioche , kumquat . Apricot ,Chamomile , white flower ,lychee, and oyster shell. On the palate it’s exotic and explosive with vibrant ,apricot , papaya , caramel, nuts ,tons of dry extract some Sauternes like notes . One of the best 1975s I have had from a leaky cork. Holy crap this is crazy and funky and special. Fresh cut grass, licorice, fish oil, like, so crazy special. It’s been open for 24hrs and the acidity is still through the roof. Silky and fresh but with lemon rind and mouth drying freshness, this is delicious and really unique. — 5 months ago
