Dundee Hills Pinot Noir 2015

Red and black fruit mingle with turned earth and spice box characters. Lush while still playing lightly across the palate. Layers of ripeness are holding up on this 6 year PN. Velvet tannins and vibrant acid frame the wine from start to finish. A great representation of the 2015 vintage. — 5 months ago

Ravenna Riesling 2018

Slight aroma of new rubber bands. Taste of key limes and canned honey peaches. Medium finish. Really interesting. — 2 years ago

Sinister Hand Columbia Valley Red Rhone Blend 2017

Nose is quite complex, with lilies, sweet red berry juice, smoldering cinders, and sandstone. It attacks the palate with flavors and sensations but not weight. Intense cracked stone minerality, dark piercing cherry fruit, a slightly bitter note to balance the lingering finish. A really good value and flexible wine. Definitely showing its majority Grenache make-up. — 4 months ago

Red Willow Vineyard Red Blend 2012

Yakima Valley Bordeaux Blend- (38% Cabernet Franc, 33% Cabernet Sauvignon, 29% Merlot). Nose features tobacco, mint, green pepper and dark cherry. Pallet shows big dark cherry/berry fruit with hints of green pepper, dark chocolate and graphite. Body is a bit lighter than expected. Medium tannins. A bit less quality than I was anticipating. — a year ago
