Drank 2009 - still so fresh, lime in colour and zesty in the mouth, but with an undertone of oily aged delight. Fantastic. — 7 years ago
Gorgeous perfume - I could smell this for hours. Medium weight on the palate with those trade mark silky tannins. Noticeable whole bunch influence. Coal River in Tasmania is hot right now for the production of top class Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. Interestingly the grapes are taken in refrigerated containers to the Adelaide Hills for vinification at Shaw and Smith. — 7 years ago

Marzipan peach pit honey, medium bodied — 8 years ago
Blackberry bramble, baked black cherry and plum, hints of maraschino, mint and menthol, bell pepper and geranium, cedar, tobacco, and bakers vanilla with whiffs of aged leather jacket on the nose. Blackberry, cherry, juicy raspberry, vanilla extract and weak black tea on the palate with a medium heavy body but a medium short finish. Overall a great wine for pumpkin pie brunch on Christmas morning (no it’s not too early). Merry Christmas! — 4 years ago
Allemand nightcap! From the terrific wine list at CUT Vegas. Allemand is truly one of my absolute favorite producers and this 07 Reynard from the master was superb. It’s deep, powerful and has a searing intensity. Ethereal and layered with dark fruit, coal smoke, black olive and violets.
There is superb concentration along with a firm tannic structure that is beginning to soften as it approaches its drinking apogee. It’s exceptionally well balanced with an incredibly long, palate saturating and harmonious finish with vivid energy and an elegant purity. WowWw. ☄️ — 5 years ago
Nice regal gold hue. Amazing pit fruit and wet stone nose. Plus notes of apricot, white clay soil, salty ocean breeze and some Raveneau honey on the finish. Rich and powerful in the mouth. Coats the palate with lots of fruit and fine grained acidity. I’ve had this a few times and this was at its best. Great Raveneau at age 30 is an amazing treat. — 6 years ago
2017 vintage. Very fragrant and floral. Little bit of stemmy herbal-ness going on in the nose. Red and purple flowers: hibiscus, lilac, violet, rose petals, raspberry, peach melba, wild strawberry, green tea, lavender, tarragon. Tastes a lot like a good cru Beaujolais. — 7 years ago
From 85-100 year old vines, the Vielles Vignes shows remarkable structure and character. A bright, stony vibrancy coupled with a broad, flowing lemon oil acidity. Citrus peel, peach pit, mango skin, perfume oils, acacia and orange blossom. Utterly delicious and constantly changing in the glass. — 8 years ago
Shimmering salmon skin. Powerful cherry, raspberry, pit fruit and lavender aromas, along with blood orange and succulent herb flourishes. Stains the palate with mineral-accented red berry, bitter cherry, white peach, orange pith and floral pastille flavors that show sharp delineation and spicy lift. In a powerful style, but it comes off lithe and precise. Shows powerful thrust on an impressively long, mineral-tinged finish that echoes the peach and blood orange notes. This is drinking well now and has so much potential. With a bit of time in the glass to open up the honeycomb really pops out with some yellow apple and peach and white flowers. There’s good acidity and a good costing mouth feel. The pit of the stone fruit and under ripe melon and peach come out more in the palate with honey and dried apricots hitting later. — 5 years ago
Nose is all minerals. Like forest air. I love that. Palate is elegant, complex and crunchy as all can. High acidity and lovely freshness and finesse. Long finish gets some pitted apricot and peach flavors. Beautiful texture and mouthfeel. Like you’re sucking on a pit. What an overachiever this is. — 6 years ago
Ethereal, bright and scintillatingly fresh, this was also dense, deep and backwards for its age. The color was red almost all the way to the rim and the structure was firmly intact with only a whisper of very fine sediments. Acidity was present although not out of place. Aromatics and flavors were astoundingly pure and effusive: mixed red pit fruit, black tea, truffle, dried florals and sweet wooden earth. There was touch of dried red citrus and tar which had me thinking the wine had been wound up with a reductive power as tha key to allowing for such glacial aging. If there are perfect wines, this is one. Everything in its place. What a transcendent experience. — 6 years ago
Limpid orange-pink. Vibrant, mineral-accented cherry pit, peach, raspberry and melon scents, along with building orange pith and floral nuances. Stains the palate with incisive red berry, citrus fruit and lavender flavors that deftly blend depth and liveliness. Shows superb tension and intense mineral character on the strikingly long finish, which leaves bitter quinine and blood orange notes behind. (Josh Raynolds, Vinous, June 2018) — 7 years ago
Whereas most of Bandol's top estates concentrate themselves in the appellation's center, Domaine de Terrebrune, a personal favorite, finds itself on the eastern edge. While its name may connote heavier soils, a bedrock of limestone gives Terrebrune's wines their finesse and ethereal precision. With flavors of rounded river rocks, cherry pit, raspberry, Bergamot orange peel, and sweet garden herbs, the Terrebrune 2016 demonstrates why Bandol is such a singular place for top tier rosé. 50% Mourvèdre, 25% Grenache, 25% Cinsaut. — 8 years ago
Yeasty, bright, with fruit and nice acidity. Great wine for the price! — 8 years ago

Amazing.
Nose is cherry and minerals.
Palate is cherry, cherry pit, minerals. Soooooo juicy. So fresh. So well made. Texture is amazing. So silky. Elegant spice. Lacks elite density but damned this is well made. For this price … yah .. good luck finding a non special night wine in burgundy. Good luck.
Long assed finish. — 3 years ago
