Brilliant orange-pink. Potent, mineral-accented red berry, cherry pit and blood orange scents show very good clarity and lift. Taut and focused on the palate, offering concentrated red currant and bitter cherry flavors that deepen and become sweeter on the back half. Smoothly blends depth and energy and finishes long and minerally, with a suave floral note coming in late. (Josh Raynolds, Vinous, June 2017)

The best part is that it's only medium-dry, has a nice viscosity to it and the acid is well integrated creating a nice balance. High minerality lends to flavors of wet rocks, jasmine and white tea side by side with all the ripe strawberries you can think of. The finish turns a bit sweet for me with the subtle experience of hard candy and maybe slight vegetation, but really a fantastic drinker. 2016 vintage

Could the 2016 actually be better than the 2015? Fresh strawberry, cherry and rose petals aromas lead to bright crisp fruit notes with lots of bright minerality and crisp acidity. Wonderful wine for the last day in France!
