Single vineyard "Les Belles Voyes" in the famous Grand Cru hillside of Oger. Pale lemon with fine creamy mousse and tiny rapid bubble flow, long lees aging. aromas stone fruits and blossom, bread dough and citrus. On the palate flavors of golden apple, peach, lemon citrus and honeysuckle with biscuit toast and nutty notes. Long finish, full-body ending with biscuit, mineral and citrus character. Lot May 2011, disg. Feb 2014. Muted upon opening, but give this a little bit of air....then, oh my god. This is so much better than my last btl, it's hard to believe. On the nose: soft honey, dense lemon oil, soft vanilla, a touch of oxidative golden apple. On the palate: fantastic acidity, soft and fine mousse, gorgeous density and richness, pomelo, and a lovely soft, velvety finish. — 6 years ago

Still young, big bubble. A BB that smells like a BB. It's good but I think too expensive for what you get. But maybe it is just really young. — 6 years ago

Nice soft mousse body, yellow peach, tropical melons, pineapple, some lemon meringue, lime zest, slightly bitter apple cider, whipped cream, hard chalkiness, alluvial limestone, saline, sea fossils, bread crust, yeastiness, yellow florals, racey acidity, nicely balanced & structured with a finish that lasts 90 seconds.
Needs a few more years in bottle. — 2 years ago
