A bold Chinon. Some soil and leaves, yes, but ripe bing and sour cherries are prominent. Fine tannins throughout. — a month ago

A very pretty color of dark ruby with a brick rim.
Full bodied, smooth and elegant, with medium minus acidity.
Dry on the palate and fruit forward with nice complexity and mouthfeel.
Showing blackberries, cooked plums, figs, spices, coffee, cedar, light vanilla, milk chocolates, herbs, alcohol, vegetables, light earth and peppercorn.
Long finish with fine grained tannins and cherries.
This 11 year old is peaking now and showing nice balance. The nose is just gorgeous once it opens up.
Not from a good vintage, but it held up pretty well.
Delicious right out of the bottle, and better with airtime. Tannins show up after 30 minutes in the decanter.
Thank you Elvira for sharing this with me.

Again, this example came to party. Family loved it, as did I. Must secure some more! — a month ago

Good semi dry bubbly. Loved the tiny bubbles, holds up well. Not too sweet — a month ago
Beautiful wine, soft light fruits. Not too dry, not too many tannins, just soft delicate fruits. Paired this with pork chops and couldn’t get enough. — a month ago
