Pale lemon in color with a light golden hue.
Strong nose of citrus, limes, light oak, spices, earth and herbs.
Medium bodied with medium plus acidity. Crisp and refreshing.
Dry on the palate with lemons, green apples, grapefruits, herbs, earth, spices and light wood.
Nice length on the finish with limes and almonds.
This is a very tasty white wine from Bordeaux. Elegant and spicy. Well balanced and complex. Soft and smooth.
Good right out of the bottle, and good by itself or with food. Will pair nicely with fresh seafood.
A blend of 73% Sauvignon Blanc, 12% Sauvignon Gris and 15% Sémillon. Aged for 7 months in (40% new) French Oak barrels.
13.5% alcohol by volume.
91 points.

Been too long since enjoying one of my favorite Napa Valley merlots. Jarvis has one of the most impressive winery tours I’ve ever been a part of (so much so that we’ve been 3 times) and the wines are all so incredibly unique and expressive.
I’ve tasted ‘10, ‘11, ‘12 and ‘13 vintage Merlots and am always surprised at how well the ‘11 shows. The nose highlights the vintage with some green notes, but there is a dirty and spicy kick to it that livens it up. Potpourri and dusty blackberry round it out. Absolutely impeccable texture and balance from start to finish...drinking perfectly at 7-years old. Black cherry, dark chocolate, cassis, violet, muddled rhubarb. Another ‘11 wine that struts its stuff well. — 8 years ago
Popped and poured; enjoyed over the course of dinner at Le Mazenay. The 2019 pours a deep ruby/purple color with a translucent core; medium+ viscosity with moderate staining of the tears. On the nose, the wine is developing with notes of ripe mixed brambles, some dried red and purple flowers, a touch of VA, some black pepper, some anise and dry earth. On the palate, the wine is dry with medium+ tannin and medium+ acid. Confirming the notes from the nose. The finish is medium+. A fantastic pairing with partridge. Already showing very well in its youth. Drink now through 2034+. — 6 months ago
Light gold, persistent mousse, nicely balanced in flavour with moderate richness/nuttiness and refreshing acidity. Would probably improve further but drinking nicely now anyhow. — 5 years ago
Nice melon and nutty character — 6 years ago
Oak. Ample aroma overflowing out from my glass, black currant. Leather, spicy, enough concentration with ripen black fruits. This is near Tarbot, far from Lagrange. @800/100ml(4000), T Enoteca, 190310 — 7 years ago

1990 vintage. Bottom neck fill. Excellent cork. Decanted with appropriate sed. Slightly darker color than all the 1990 BDX I've tasted in the last year. Initial, slight funk on the nose that dissipated rapidly. Tasted immediately after decant, 1 hour and 2 hours later. Started softly but then brought out that big, Lagrange stick. Cedar, smoke, plum, leather, mercury, distilled dark cherry, summer pond mud. Displayed better balance throughout than expected with good staying power. Based on this excellent sample, will be shopping for more. Could hold in this spot for another half-decade before recalibrating. 12.5.25. — 6 months ago

Love this for all that it isn’t — 5 years ago
Plummy and almost a little smoky. Love the texture. It became a much softer wine after aerating, and on the second day had lost most of its bite. — 5 years ago
Fresh grape, hay, anise, white flowers and a touch of peach, this is a very flowery nose, full of promise and intriguing. The palate is very dense: wide, long with a grip, a soft touch, a bit of a round thing in mid palate. Peach and and anise all along the acid backbone. A very long finish with a bit of peach and some freshness. In the end there is an everlasting layer of anise and hay. This is very good! — 6 years ago
