Brouilly Gamay

Great Brouilly. Tart cherry with potting soil and floral notes. Light tannins, nice acidity in the finale.

Young fruit still has legs to go. Paired with Portuguese pork stew with macanese shrimp paste

balance is off

Was not what I expected, but better than I expected. Much more full bodied with dark fruit and spicy “Mexican chocolate” notes. Reminded me of a Malbec-Syrah blend more than a Beaujolais

I like it! Should really start trying more Beaujolais

Easy to drink, red fruit, medium acidity

A delicious buy. With just a slight chill it sings with plump cherries and opened on the palate.

Deep dark fruit and tart acid. Nice

Extra point for bargain bin surprise. A little more dark fruited than expected too
