The 2020 Bellegrave is well-defined and poised on the nose, blackberry and briary, hints of truffle unfolding with aeration. The palate is medium-bodied with a graphite-infused entry. Quite solid and structured, almost like a "mini-Lafleur", with a well-defined and persistent finish that has splendid mineralité. Very fine. (Neal Martin, Vinous, February 2023) — a year ago
This is one of the first few vintage of what is now known as Les Perrières de Lafleur. It has a clear frame of cabernet to it with the dark fruit, tobacco and leather notes. Round, medium bodied, balanced and punches above its price point. Drinks excellent now. — 3 years ago
Really good Lalande de Pomerol from the Guinaudeau family. Its now called Les Perrieres de Lafleur, an allusion to the fact the vines are from Lafleur’s “selection massale”. Nose of floral notes, very precise sculpted mouth of dark berries and “rose fannee”, great acidity and balance, ends on tobacco notes. Its very accessible now but lors of potential to age. Great bottle and the quality price ratio is hard to beat ! — 5 years ago

Blend of 85 % Merlot, 10% Cabernet Franc and 5% Cabernet Sauvignon, deep Ruby with aromas of black fruits and pepper spice. On the palate flavors of ripe blackberry and black cherry with cacao, espresso and spicy herbal notes. Lively acidity, firm tannins, medium+ finish ending with fruit, cacao and spicy oak. — 8 months ago
#dfwe2019 — 5 years ago
Merlot dominated Bordeaux blend. Smooth drinker. This winery is located 300m from château Petrus and direct neighbors of château Gazin and Château Evangile. At 20 euro's a bottle excellent qpr. — 5 years ago
Super rich and tasty — 5 years ago
Well located situated between Lafleur and Petrus hence the name. A little bit of history - Pomerol was originally planted by the Romans but fell into disrepair and neglect until the 17th and 18th Century. The total area of Pomerol is only 800 hectares. This wine is plummy and very earthy and so enjoyable. My notes said “This is why one loves Pomerol “. — 6 years ago
Deep ruby Medium intensity aromas of violet, rose petal, blueberry, cassis, plum, bell pepper, baking spice
Dry, high acidity, medium+ tannins, high alcohol, full body,
Very good quality - needs a bit of time but has lot of promise.

Tasted blind. It was evident that this was mature Bordeaux at its finest quality level from an excellent vintage. The absence of brettanyomces and a right bank aroma profile pointed towards Lafleur or Petrus. Deliciously ripe and dried red fruits mingle with black truffle, cocoa powder, forest floor and cigar box. Gently caressing the palate, the 1970 Château Petrus delivers a full-body, velvety tannins, a core of dried red fruits and a long, lingering finish. Probably slightly past it's peak, but still spectacular. Drink now. — a year ago
This wine is drinking perfectly right now. Had it side by side with a 2005 Gazin and the Lichine was much better. — 4 years ago
The Guinaudeau family has started this wine few years ago. Young vines that came from Chateau Lafleur. As a matter of fact in 2018 its called “Les Perrerieres de Lafleur”. Great blend of Merlot and Cabernet Franc. Dark rubi robe, dark berries nose, very polished tannins on a medium length medium body wine with good acidity and support to the fruit concentration. Hold for 4 to 5 years. One of the best new wines we have tried in a while. Highly recommended ! — 5 years ago
Blends perfectly with grilled meat and spicy food. A must try. — 5 years ago

At the Pomerol Dinner we then had 3 vintages of Chateau Hosanna starting with the 1999. 70% Merlot 30% Cabernet Franc. Only 4.5 hectares with some famous neighbours - Lafleur to the north; Petrus to the east; La Fleur-Petrus to the west; and Vieux Chateau Certan to the south. This 1999 was the first vintage made under the Hosanna name. Earthy with a touch of wet nappy. On the palate plump and round with supple tannins. — 6 years ago
