85% merlot / 15 % cab franc — 8 months ago
Merlot dominates this blend but there is some Cabernet Sauvignon and some Cabernet Franc blended in. Medium ruby color with a slight clear meniscus. Fruit forward aromas and flavors of blackberry, black cherry, dark plum, baking spices and cedar. Medium-plus finish. Medium body and very silky tannins. Well balanced/layered acidity and a very silky texture. A bit more austere than a traditional Medoc red blend. At peak. — 9 months ago
YUM. Red berries and earth. It’s a little cloying right after you open it, but in 10 minutes it mellows out into an amazing red to pair with hearty food on a chilly night. — 3 years ago

Though 55 percent Cab and 36 percent Merlot (the rest is Cab Franc and Petit Verdot), the Merlot provides a lot of influence making for a blend lacking in complexity but still quite nice. Opens up nicely with air. December 2025. — 7 months ago
Happy birthday to my favorite father-in-law! — 7 months ago
For me, this is perfectly aged. Still some nice fruit, but loads of clay-like minerality and cedar in the nose. Soft and palate-coating but with nice balance, the tannins are still present but are not obtrusive. Really long, clingy finish. Really fine. — 8 months ago

2009. - drinking in April 2018 in Paris (which helps!) very smooth with a hint of cherry. Lovely legs and a nice finish. — 8 years ago

Pretty violet and black fruit aromatics, on palate this shows maturity, solid depth and complexity, longish finish, time to drink this lovely Bordeaux! — 6 months ago
