BIG Pinot. Love. Lingers. — 5 years ago
Fort Ross Seaview Bordeaux blend. Old world style. Truffle, cedar & cassis nose. Fresh style on the palate. Drinks more Super Tuscan than Bordeaux. Black currant & tobacco, but loads of fresh acid. Drinks great with a pork ragu & pasta. Definitely one to seek out. — 5 years ago

Strong black pepper nose, with blueberry and jasmine. Wonderfully complex on the palate with dancing ripe red currants and blueberries. Amazing and delicious. Slight tannins and long, smooth finish. — 4 years ago
Fabulously surprising! This wine is one of those warm robust bear humans who wraps you in a hug that doesn’t smother you, it frees you. It’s fresh. Oodles of dark berries and plums plus vanilla and a very herbal earthy thing and something like leather. So very very good. — 5 years ago

Clay loved it. Soph liked but not as much as clay but would drink again. — 4 years ago
I believe this is my first bottle from the Fort Ross Seaview AVA.
The nose is gorgeous with fresh berries framed by floral, herbal, and earthy elements. On the palate it’s lively yet refined, with juicy raspberry and cranberry leading the way. Soft integrated tannins.
Drinking alongside the Sea Smoke Ten of the same vintage, this beauty certainly stands on its own, and actually offers a deeper and more complex nose. Just a lovely Pinot! — 5 years ago

Really incredible wine. Not paired with any food, the wine is flavorful, quenching w/ oak flavor adding the right dryness and notes of plum & vanilla to finish - really well balanced and opened well. Bottled was empty far too quickly : ) — 4 years ago
