Naso intrigante e ricco. Bella consistenza e complessità data da un uso del legno presente ma non invasivo.

Popped and poured; enjoyed over the course of an hour. The 2020 “Aux Boudots” pours, a deep, ruby color with a nearly opaque core; medium viscosity, with light staining of the tears. On the nose, the wine is youthful with notes of ripe red and some black fruits: raspberry, strawberry, blackberry, red flowers, forest floor, licorice, gentle warm spices, and ferrous minerals. On the palate, the wine is dry with medium tannins and medium+ acid. Confirming the notes from the nose. The finish is medium. I think this vintage of Chezeaux’s 1er crus, regardless of vineyard, still need time. Better after 2030 and probably good through 2045. — 4 months ago
Cherry cordial fruit menagerie. Impossible balance. — 9 months ago
Comes out earthy and a touch funky, which fades with time open, leaving behind pure brambly berry fruit. Delicate, with good concentration and length. — 3 years ago
Dried strawberries. Luxardo. Cola. Violets. Dark blackberry finish. Yummm. ++ — 4 years ago
A little thin for Zin, but still enjoyable. — 4 years ago
Excellent 2019 served with pasta and heavy meat sauce. This didn’t need long to breathe. — 6 months ago
Beautiful French Cru. Went well with a variety of Uchi dishes. Super soft, relatively dark, fruity and again … soft finish — 10 months ago
