The nose is psycho. Lime zest, butter, actually brown butter, an airy ethereal quality, maybe some white peach, some citrus and unreal discreetly framed oak that has just made me shake my head how well integrated it is. Like insane. 9.8 nose. All the wet stones one can imagine. Florent is a completely different winemaker than when I started with him. This is super elite. The palate is a masterclass in controlled detonating So opulent yet so nimble. The texture, my goodness the texture. Silk. The finest silk. Extraordinary concentration and so nimble, so sappy and so pure. Unreal density and finesse and ultra concentrated. But so nimble it’s like a breeze on your palate. Acid is on point as is the structure which is architectural. More Gehry than Hadid. It’s got tannin and acid plus extraordinary length. There is real heft and density here but it retains this laser like delineation. Icing on a cake like texture now after some air and silly length. Stunning. With air this got crazy crazy elegant. Needs 2 years but a great wine. Still has a bit of oak. Not undrinkable now but better in 2 years.

Really clean and intense midseason cherry fruit. Some cherry spice. So clean. Savory a bit. Sweet cherry fruit. Very good deliciousness.

Everything I love about Burgundy. Light bodied, intensely perfumed fresh roses; flavors of cherry, raspberries, spice, earth, acidity; grip. Tannins and acidity should mellow with some age. Gorgeous and very precise nose of some spicey oak, mid season cherries that have insane clarity. Unreal sous bois underneath. Super classy nose. Just singing. Love 21. Real aromatic substance and layering here. Gorgeous clean laundry aromas as well as spice and some flowers. Palate is very young on the PNP but as it airs it will come together and flesh out. So pure and precise with glorious fruit of the mid season cherry kind. Can’t wait to see this unfurl. Oak also a a bit much on the palate but Garaudet’s wines always need mega air. I will be back! Oh wow air has gotten this all sorts of delicious. Unreal finesse and sweetness. So focused. — 6 months ago
