It’s a difficult, low-yielding white grape from the Piedmont (NW Italy) whose name, Arneis translates to “Little Rascal”. I discovered it while visiting the region, a few years back, and have been a fan ever since. Aromatic, spicy, and full-flavored it entertains the pallet with crisp lime and tart tree fruits. It paired well with salad based foods and light cheeses. Roero is where, within the Piemonte, the grapes were grown. — 4 years ago
Nice Brunello and a real value at Wegmans’ price. Blackberry and stewed plum, cinnamon and leather, chewy tannins, juicy. Not too heavy. — 14 days ago
Loved this bottle unfortunately haven't found it being sold locally recently. — 5 years ago
Very very nice, classic Nebb. Great structure, feels young but not a gripper. Bursts of fruit and acidity. — 9 months ago
