いかにもいい葡萄を感じる濃いめの色。
少し熟成したカリンや黄桃、オイリーなニュアンス、蜜リンゴ、枇杷、ミント、後にはシャープな酸。

Quite light garnet , wide terracotta rim . Quite a lot of smoky sous bois, with some light red fruits, sweet dry spices , touch of hickory . On the palate this is pretty evolved and has started to dry out slightly , with some some sweet red currant , dried spices, salty acidity and resolved tannin . Ok , slate tinged finish . Medium deep ruby, quite thin garnet ruby rim . Quite dense and slightly smoky nose, charcoal , dusty cassis, tobacco , oyster shell , sweet blackberry and herbal hints . Sweeter darker fruits on the palate with cassis , blackberry , grafite ,liquorice , tobacco and quite noticable , slightly dry tannins . Good length and dusty grafite finish . This shows some development but needs a little time still to integrate the tannins . Better in 5 years and will last well a further 10 or so . — a month ago

Dark red color with a copper tinge. Aromas of dark red fruit. Medium body. Entry has a hint of sweetness. Dry with dark cherry, tobacco, little coffee notes. Very bright acidity for such an old wine brings it to a perfect balance. Tannins are there, but well balanced. Excellent wine.
