I usually tend toward Pinot Noir, but when I want something just a bit bolder, Gamay hits the spot. I have really been enjoying this 2015 vintage. — 8 years ago

I consider this a more full bodied wine. Typically a Cab drinker but this Merlot was quite good. Strong plum and cranberry flavors with a bit of a peppery finish. Alcohol content seems high with half glass consumed! Surprised that I am enjoying this one as much as I am. — 11 years ago
Jammy and fantastic. Will definitely get this one the next time I see it. — 11 years ago
Great great wine! Smooth easy drinking. Loved it. — 12 years ago
Yummy as it opened up over four hours. Good particularly for a seven year old Napa Pinot. Spring Mt. — 7 years ago
solid bottle, fun to drink. cloudy yellow and some light sediment, very much looks smells and tastes like a natural wine. — 8 years ago

My current FAVORITE table red. Fruity with adequate tannins and excellent finish. Pairs with everything from steaks to Italian. — 7 years ago
Can't believe I've held on to this treasure for so long! Cedar and sandalwood on the nose. Silky with a bright and savory--almost vegetal--finish. Perfect with filet and steak-house style garlicky creamed spinach. These grapes were picked when I was still in high school! — 10 years ago
Very good wine from CB. Nice balance to it, lots of flavor. Had it with a nice steak. Great pairing. — 10 years ago
Really liked. I'm learning I like red blends of wine. — 10 years ago
Sometimes you don't want to analyze, and just enjoy. This was one of those moments. — 11 years ago
Great cherry and lightly spice, well balanced and great value for money — 11 years ago
Commented earlier on my account: silky and delicate. Ripe taannums, lively acidity, delicate red fruit — 12 years ago

Dessert Course, Warm Berry Cobbler, House Made Vanilla, Lemon Verbena Ice Cream.
Amazing dessert. Pairing the cobbler with the Ruinart Rosé and the Charles Heidsieck Brut Reserve as well. Both good/appropriate for the dual aspects of the cobbler.
Dessert has blackberries and raspberries with lemon and crumble on top (tiny bit of cinnamon) and vanilla lemon verbena ice cream. There are flavors here that call for Rosé & Blanc de Blanc Champange.
