Dark fruit, tart tannins, complex. I’d buy a case of this vintage and enjoy with a Cohiba from Havana 🇨🇺 — 7 years ago
Quaffable Rioja, benefits from opening early, great with Morrocan Lamb, smooth and full bodied real taste of Spain. — 8 years ago
A very thick wine, the chocolate flavor started to come out as time went by. Would have gotten a higher point if we had eaten meat. 1050 pesos = 49USD. — 8 years ago

Luis' top red cuvée from his oldest vines of Brancellao, Caiño Redondo, Caiño Longo and Ferrol. Unlike the "regular" A Torna Dos Pasas, the Escolma is aged in new and used French barriques for 1yr and bottle-aged for another 3 years.
Red and black tart berry fruit, backbone of fine tannins and Atlantic/granite minerality.
This is Spanish wine for Burgundy lovers. Amazing. — 8 years ago
A truly amazing tasting hosted by non other than Rob Greer!!! We loved hearing the history of his vineyard and his transition from making what he called “Fun” wine to making “Fine Wine”. If he was shooting for simply fine he completely missed his Mark. This one was absolutely unequivocably Superb!!!!! Wow., his 14 was balanced., balanced, balanced. Seamless integration and a touch of oak which doesn’t over power the wine. This was Badass in a Glass for sure!!!!!!
I was lucky enough to have been introduced to Greer wines by Howard Greenfield a few years ago. I’ve never looked back and say YES SIR to my entire allocation on a yearly basis. If you haven’t had Greer YOU MUST contact Rob and pick up a 3 pack. Believe me.,you won’t regret it!!! It will do you proud when you pour it for your family and friends🙌🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🙌. @Howard Greenfield @Jason Chang @Kirk Alexander @Dov Eidelman @Tania Rodriguez — 7 years ago
On reconnaît l'expertise de Thelmo Rodriguez. Sa formation dans le bordelais est perceptible. Note de fruits mûrs. Bel équilibre. Tout ce que l'on veut d'un vin. 2004. — 7 years ago
Very nice. First bottle from our Christmas case. Thank you Dennis Porter. Enjoyed with Sam and Nancy Kirshner-Rodriguez. — 7 years ago
Another delicious Iberian White, this one from Spain and made by the highly reputable Telmo Rodriguez. Produced from 40 year old Verdejo vines. Aromatic with floral notes and pineapple juice. On the palate textural with rich nutty flavours and notes of tropical fruit salad. Drink now. Great to see a screw cap. — 8 years ago
Holding on to warmer weather with this... sensational white peach, lemon/lime, gala apple, cantaloupe, and pineapple core on the nose and palate. Bundles of citrus blossom shine. What's really making this wine damn good is it's HIGH acidity and the mid-palate's ability to sear past the finish. Minerality brings you to sea shells and beach rocks. Sea spray and sea salt permeate through all phases of the nose and palate. Mouthfeel is spot on and leaves your lips buzzing. All done with 12% alcohol. Cheers! — 9 years ago
