Very expressive nose displaying complex aromas of walnut, vanilla, cedar, sweet ripe plums, dark cherries and hints of liquorice.
It is dry and intense in the palate, with a tasty concentration and fine-grained firm tannic structure. The alcohol is well-integrated and balanced by a medium+ lively acidity. It is full-bodied and ends with a persistent and pleasant aftertaste.
It is an outstanding example of non-traditional but not too modern Rioja either. Very balanced and with elegant and well-integrated oak notes.

Great recommendation from Sommelier. Enjoyed this at opening of Honey's in Chicago. A true Spanish Tempranillo! Loaded with that nice bold yet dry flavor. Hints of hardwood smoke and dark cherries. Mild tannins and smooth finish. A true classic!
