Revisiting the Tapiz cab. Balanced and smooth. James Suckling’s 94 points seem out of bounce though. With good amount of air, this wine drinks very well though. — 6 months ago

Well the wife got brave and opened a bottle I didn’t want used in a sauce the other day. Probably had her dad over since I was on a bis trip. Glad I got to try. Nice wine. — 9 months ago
Dark berries and a hint of orange peel, with a little graphite and stone. Medium acidity and tannins. Very good value, which is typical of the wines I’ve had from this producer. — 8 years ago
Jan 31, 2018. Top Ten, on the bar list. Easy drinking, Priorat. Would be great everyday wine. Dark fruit, rich earthy wine. Grenache blend. Yum — 8 years ago

Fantastic!! — 12 years ago
A lovely blend from Priorat of around 50/50 Garnacha and Carinena, sometimes with a little Merlot included in some years. A red and black fruited palate with ripe blackcurrant. Opulent. I have a previous Delectable note for this wine - 77? Weeks ago. Reinforces my love of Priorat and Garnacha in particular. From the producer’s oldest vines - approximately 110 years. The 14.5% Alcohol does not show at all. — 5 months ago
Smooth, interesting, spicy. Very nice. — 7 months ago
Just an incredible 19 year old bottle with plenty of life left but drinking perfect tonight. Inky and dark purple. Raspberries and cherries, but with lots of dark fruit, spices, caramel, and gamey scents that develop more deeply when stirred and sipped. Elegant balance of tannins and fruit. Medium+ body. 5 min or longer finish. Robust but not overwhelming. — 8 months ago
Cherry/strawberry, fruit roll-up, wild herbs de Provence,, iron, sage, hint of licorice, medium tannin and nice acid. Great wine. 2020 vintage. Couldn’t wait longer to open it with a steak. Hopefully I’ll have more patience next time. :) — 8 months ago

Medium ruby , medium wide terracotta , garnet rim . Touches of leather , earthy , caramel coated spiced cherry , vanilla . Elegant on the palate , notes of leather , cherry , black tea , vanilla spice . Fresh acidity , fine tannins , balanced acidity. This has an earthy mineral undertone with good length . This is showing well now and will continue well over the next 10 years or so. — 6 months ago
Impressed by the delicate nose, sour cherries, almond blossom, good volume, freshness, good moment of consumption. — 7 months ago
Apr 2025: fruit bomb, raisins and black plum, nice nose. Lucks acidity and little body, one dimensional — 8 months ago
Popped and poured; enjoyed over the course of an hour. The 2001 Reserva pours a deep ruby/purple color with an opaque core; medium viscosity with moderate staining of the tears and loads of fine sediment. On the nose, the wine is vinous with notes of mostly dried, desiccated fruit: cherries, blackberries, leather, cocoa, earth and warm spices. On the palate, the wine is dry with medium, integrated tannins and medium+ acid. Confirming the notes from the nose plus the addition of an umami note that’s quite attractive. The finish is medium+ and slightly savory. Drink now. — 9 months ago
Really nice red blend from Spain subtle contrast and fruit with low tannins, great everyday wine. — 8 years ago
Buttery. Heavy on your tongue. — 9 years ago
This wine is excellente! Deep silky dark fruit. This is a great sipping wine, yet it will sing with a thick steak or juicy grilled pork chop. This is a 2007, so good luck finding one. — 9 years ago
Almost as lovely as the Rimbert family themselves. Savory Southern French wine. Black rocks for days.... — 10 years ago
