Incredible. Robert Parker style big style. — 8 months ago
Cheers to my 6,000th review on Vivino. A Big milestone deserves a big wine. This was on my wishlist for a while now. Go big or go home!
Deep inky in color with a short brick rim. Unbelievable. Not showing age at all.
Fruity nose of blackberries, blueberries, black currants, chocolates, tobacco, mocha, leather, earth, Mediterranean spices, beef jerky, peppercorn, cedar, leather, vanilla and licorice.
Full bodied, bold, smooth and elegant, with medium acidity and long legs.
Dry and fruity on the palate with blackberries, black currants, sweet plums, vanilla, cedar, light vegetables, spices, smoke, tobacco, chocolates, coffee, cola, pencil lead and peppercorn.
Long finish with firm tannins and tangy cherries.
This is a wonderful Cabernet Sauvignon based, Bordeaux blend from Napa Valley. Showing great complexity and a great mouthfeel. Big with bold tannins. Delicious and yummy.
This 19 year old is drinking very nicely now, and really shows like a young wine. Has at least 15 years in it.
After 3 hours of airtime, forest floor notes come in on the nose. Tasting like an aged left bank Bordeaux.
Wine Advocate 100 points.
This is a Fabulous wine to share with good friends. Very enjoyable by itself or with food. I paired it with BBQ ribs.
Thank you John, for sharing this phenomenal wine with me.
A blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot.
14.5% alcohol by volume.

Decant for sediment (lots of chunky/fine sediment) and pour. A stunning medium ruby red color with little signs of aging. On the nose: big inviting notes of dark fruit/currants, worn leather, herbaceous, smoked meat, funky earth, menthol. Taste: silky, evolved, expressive structure with brambly plum, currants, old leather, dark chocolate, graphite, and a black raspberry-iron-dried herb long finish. YUM! It's what's you want in an aged Napa cab, and glad to have just acquired 3 more bottles. — 5 months ago
Drinking a 3L from 2013 in late ‘24. Love the big format bottles and aging potential. This could go a lot longer I think but is also fine to drink now.
Standard Caymus flavors and aromas that made the brand known. Dark inky crimson color. Blueberries and blackberry fruit mixed with vanilla alongside the tell-tale signs of wet band-aid. Great tannins, medium-to-big acidity, good long finish. Really nice. — 10 months ago
A great drinking wine on its own- wouldn’t say it flourishes with food. Super dry, big, bold, mouth full. — 4 years ago
Received from Bernals. Very good. Would buy again. — 5 years ago
Very smooth like a cab. Great for the price. — 7 years ago
Medium lemon colour . Persistent and fine perlage. This is quite restrained at first with lemon oil , toasty baked pastry and oyster shell hints . On the palate this is really quite intense , honied lemon , ginger, toasty yellow fruits , toasted nuts and quite mineral, oyster shell hints. Long and complex on the finish , fresh acidity , intense and complete . Needs a little more time, will show even better in 5 -10 years or so and over the next 10-15 years . — 5 months ago
Spanish wine with steak? YES! Big dark fruit, soft, jammy, super smooth and tasty — 9 months ago
Cherry, watermelon, raspberry, currant and hints of lemon. Good acidity and balance. — 10 months ago
Faint hint of brett, rustic but still fruity, pizza friendly GSM, with nice tannin once a bit aerated. Quite enjoyable. — 4 years ago
Dry white with fruity notes — 5 years ago
Crisp, refreshing — 7 years ago
Medium gold. Heavy in the glass. Opened decanted for an hour. Knockout nose. Notes of lemon, white stone with some oyster shell, and a bit of honey develops over time. Rich luscious fruit in the mouth. Acidity hides in the first few hours, then powers up. Great juice. — 7 years ago
