Beautiful straw color with apple and citrus notes. Paired with vichychoise and halibut. — 6 months ago
This bottle brought me tremendous joy. My last bottle a few months back was over the hill and it really bothered me because I felt this could easily go 10+ years when I tasted it on release. This is a perfect example of there are no great wines just great bottles. Lovely scents of apple, lime and vanilla. A wonderfully integrated palate with a finish that makes you think premier cru. — 8 months ago

Consistently good everyday wine dinner — 2 months ago
This is drinking well right now. Tannic but lush and quite open. Long finish and love the acidity here — 3 months ago
Robust and bold. Dark fruit, dark plum and ripe blackberry, cassis, oak. — 3 months ago
Medium deep garnet, ruby core with medium light garnet rim . This is quite meaty and deep on the nose , with earthy dark cherry , porcini , sweet blackberry and spiced sous bois . On the palate this is quite severe and serious , darker fruits , ripe blackberry , cherry and hint of blackcurrant, herbal hints. Quite gritty , slightly drying tannins , fresh acidity . Earthy , dusty dark cherry edged finish , ok medium length. Quite ambitious for a village and arguably not ready yet , tannins need a little more time to integrate. From now and over the next 5 years, if not longer . — 4 months ago

Beautiful Zin all around. I find it a bit earthy but absolutely stunning. Wow, when I think “Zin” this is the taste, and I got it on sale for only $35! It’s pairing perfectly with my spicy Chinese food dinner. I’m imagining about 10 other dishes this will pair wonderfully with as well. — 4 years ago
Previous bottle opened a few months ago was very tired, but tonight we are back to form. Plenty of ripe and lean orchard fruit with a drop of lemon. Lots coming through for a village wine, both in terms of flavors as well as density. Very good now. — 3 months ago
2005 drunk in 2025. Delicious even though the cork crumbled. Gorgeous color, full body, a bit grassy and green apple. — 3 months ago
Nice complement for both the chicken Marsala and the ribeye. — 4 months ago
Light and dry but funky, almost yeasty tannins mixed with berries. Distinct old vine Chilean varietals that I would like to see more of. — 4 years ago
