Notes: 80+ year old vines throughout California. Nice perfume, spice, and fruit well balanced. Tobacco and leather is more subtle than other Zinfandels but i like it more. Great bottle of wine. — 5 years ago
An old gewurz-dominant field blend, that comes across especially perfumed and seemingly with a pinch of residual sugar. Simple yet abundantly interesting, and between the sweetness and nice acid backbone, this was a great partner to spicy curries. I enjoy Bedrock’s rendition more than Carlisle’s. — 6 years ago

New release of our Ancient Vines blend (⅓ each Zinfandel, Mourvèdre & Carignane) from Bedrock Vineyard. All 3 varietals play well together and add their own distinct flair, making for a red that's full-flavored yet nuanced. I would pair it with ribeye steaks, grilled lamb or braised short ribs. — 11 years ago
Love this vineyard and really like this wine. Going to let the rest of my bottles rest for a few months before trying again. — 13 years ago

Stunning color...refreshing without heaviness... — 7 years ago
Deep purple in color, dark fruits on the nose with a hint of cocoa. Smooth mouthfeel with well integrated tannins. One of my favorite petite sirah's — 8 years ago
Decanted for 2 hours. Still big, no signs of fading. Did not drink enough before it was consumed to review properly, but seemed a touch sweet. — 3 years ago
1886 vines from the great Monte Rosso vineyard. This was a very nice cherry fruit red zinfandel. — 4 years ago
13.5% ABV Salute to Lulu Peyraud of Domaine Tempier in France. Lulu’s father owned the vineyard , and she along with her husband took it over. Sadly we lost her in October 2020 at the age of 102 y/o. This is a blend of old vine Mataro and Grenache. Light salmon color, watermelon initially , later apple. Very nice! — 4 years ago
