Dirty & Rowdy

Familiar California Mourvedre 2019

Hits on everything. The fruits, the woods, the meats. It’s what you get when you pair a great California winemaker with his best grape.

Hardy Wallace makes beautiful things happen with Mourvèdre.

Murky, fresh pressed wild blueberries, raspberries, strawberries. Salty thick cut beef jerky. Coffee, cocoa, rosemary stems.

Plush and classically balanced like a real-life checkbook.

Dirty & Rowdy

Enz Vineyard Mourvèdre

Super fun tasting through a selection of Dirty and Rowdy’s. While there wasn’t a bad bottle in this lineup, the 2017 Enz was lights out... Was a treat having the winemaker Hardy Wallace join us via Zoom. What we expected to be a 30min or so zoom call to walk us through the lineup turned into 2 hours of learning about the various vineyards Hardy works with and diving into his philosophy on wine. An afternoon I’ll never forget! Thanks Clare for making this happen! — 3 years ago

Bec Hardy

Garden Series Limestone Coast Cabernet Sauvignon 2020

Medium ruby in color; oregano, green bell pepper, and black cherries on the nose; medium minus acidity; medium plus tannins; tastes like cherries, eucalyptus, and wet gravel with a long finish. Nellie says it's ok. I'm enjoying the unique aromas and flavors. — 9 months ago

Trackers Crossing 365 Chardonnay 2016

Looking at the reviews I was surprised so low for an $8 wine. I am enjoying this. Tastes more sweet than tart. Not able to identify fruit but I guess more like a ripe tropical fruit. — 4 years ago
