Barrel Select Willamette Valley Pinot Noir 2019

Really nice for the price. Some complexity. Signature Pinot barny/wet hey fruit forward. Pretty good for $14. — 4 years ago

Stack House

Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon 2017

A very tasty Cabernet Sauvignon from Napa Valley. Showing black fruits with cedar, vanilla, leather, spices, earth, chocolates, tobacco and herbs.

Bone dry on the palate, and full bodied with medium acidity.

Needs time to open up properly.
Still young and needs a few years in the bottle to mature properly.

Wine Advocate 92 points.

Spicy and tangy finish with firm tannins.

14.2% alcohol by volume.

91 points.

$43.

A unique bourbon. Vanilla nose with an incredible flavor of cherries on the palate, almost kirsch-like. Very happy with this. — 7 years ago

Brick House

Select Ribbon Ridge Pinot Noir 2022

Impressive, Cranberry, touch volatile acid, cherry, juicy, lots of tannins. This is really good and reminds me of the Burghs in the old old days before they did get stylized. Biodynamic, 13%. — 9 months ago

The Vineyard House

Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon 2017

Terrific. Opened this to make sure it wasn’t baked from a shipping issue. Obviously it wasn’t but I am amazed how approachable this wine is at such a tender age. 5 more years of bottle age and this will be a stunner! — 4 years ago

Private Selection Aged in Bourbon Barrels Monterey County Cabernet Sauvignon 2016

Incredibly delicious. Dry, full bodied. The guy at Bev Mo recommended it and explained that this is the best bourbon-barrel aged—they did it for just the right amount of time. Sounds weird, but so glad I tried it. — 8 years ago

Inferno Red Blend

Smooth. Let it breathe, sweet, nice aroma, vanilla, black cherry, like bourbon barrel aged, similar to copper & thief red blend. Good by itself, good with cheese and dried cranberries. — 2 years ago

Cuvée du Tonnelier Ribbon Ridge Pinot Noir 2011

Really delicious Pinot. Burgundian style. Elegant. Cassis and muted earth. Amazing for the original price. This 2011 is long gone. Paid under $40 several years ago. Wish I had another. Hear my Dad saying in my head "Always buy two..." 😀 🍷 — 7 years ago
