Delightful reasonably priced Brunello for the quality. Impressive nose on opening with non—aggressive raspberry strawberry cherry mild spice and mild undergrowth. The palate is fruit forward with the same fruit and spice profiles with soft tannins extending the finish for a while. Not sure it will cellar well but it’s at a peak now with little air needed. — 5 days ago

Little funk on the nose. Sour cherry, some minerals and a bit of smoke. Little lighter than I expected, some healthy tannin on the back end. Really fine wine for $20 or so. Nice to see Vallana’s around again. — 5 months ago

Really a very nice alto Piemonte. Such a refined and perhaps even gentle Nebbiolo. Tannins relatively smooth which surprised me a bit. Wonderful refreshing acid and nice finish. Delicious pairing with iberico pork on the grill. — 9 months ago
