Apple, lemon candy, dried apricot, oak and hints of peach. Great acidity and balance. — 3 years ago
The first day of opening this wine it was harsh and stuffy. I was not impressed. However, on the second day, this wine opened up and became very light and flavorful - a juicy Pinot Noir of jammy cherry and berries. — 4 years ago
Fantastic example of the region and one of its top winemakers doing what they do to produce an exceptional, balanced Chardonnay — 5 years ago

Nose of plums, forest floor with fresh fallen flower petals. Taste is of plums, black tea, Forest, raspberry, mushroom. I really like this. Opened up after an hour of pulling cork and really excellent after 2+. — 7 years ago

So good. Lovely subtle oak spice with big blackberry coulis fruit and spices on the nose. Huge depth on the nose. You could swim in the layers. Palate is so ripe, so rich and so dense with dazzling purity and freshness. Wow. This is just incredible. So fresh yet so opulent and deep. That’s what the best 15’s have to offer. Spectacular. — 6 years ago

Chard that tastes like cloudy Aligote — 6 years ago
Pale straw hue with moderate tearing. Nose has fresh citrus, lemon peel, and ripe cantaloupe notes. White flowers, such as lily and gardenias. Delicate buttery aromas. Crisp on palate with more pronounced wet slate and stone elements alongside fresh stone fruit and citrus. Medium finish. Vintage 2015. 13.5% ABV. #grandvindebourgogne #montagny #aupieddumontchauve #whiteburgundy #chardonnay #oldworld #côtechalonnaise — 6 years ago

Roberto Carli
One of the best example of ripe style California Chardonnay I have ever had. It hits with a savory character of grilled pineapple, then gives away to a variety of ripe stone fruit, a roux of spiced oak and even further back, a crushed rock minerality that keeps the ensemble lifted and enticing. The pallet is even more surprising as it confirms the stone fruit, adds a touch of citrus and slaps you with tingling stony acidity that keeps going and going. The juxtaposition of opulence and lean elegance is outstanding. After drinking through some flabby 2018s recently, this is a smacking reminder of why I fell in love with Jim’s wines to begin with. Wow!!!! — 5 months ago
